What an impressive load of rubbish – anyone missing a traffic cone?!
In 2018 we started a trend in the area with our brilliant Farmers’ Market. Happily others have followed and there is now a choice of many lovely farm shops and outlets around the area.
Whilst Farmer’s Market won’t be continuing in 2026, the time is right for The Hall to lead in another direction, while still offering the opportunity for regular customers to enjoy the benefits of socialising and added events!
We won’t entirely lose markets, as we intend to hold a couple of Mini Markets and a large and very festive Christmas Market on Sunday 29th November 2026 – pop the date in your diary now! If anyone would like to get involved in the planning and delivery of this, do get in touch with the Hall (info@thehallevents.org.uk ), helpers are always needed for everything going on!
Below are some of the new events coming up.

Wood Owl and the Box of Wonders, for children of all ages, and all the family. We really hope to get a good audience for this, our first children’s show:
A lonely little owl wants nothing more than to fly into the night and join his friends. But how can he, when he is made from wood? The arrival of another lonely soul changes his life as he strives to help. Join Hoglets Theatre on a magical journey of singing owls, fantasy worlds, friendship and love.
Featuring beautiful handmade puppets, Wood Owl and the Box of Wonders is a heart-warming, visually enchanting children’s theatre experience that blends puppetry, original music, and immersive storytelling.
This magical production explores themes of friendship, kindness, and belonging, leaving audiences with an age-old message: the love we show to others comes back to us in time.
