A message from the organisers of the first professional theatre night last Saurday at The Hall:
‘A HUGE thank you to all who came to The Hall on Saturday night for our first professional theatre night. We hope that you had a great evening!
“Old Herbaceous” was an absolute treat, thanks so much to Giles Shenton Productions!
We really enjoyed bringing this to our community in and around our parishes! Thanks also to our wonderful volunteers, without whom we couldn’t stage events like this.
Put Saturday 14th June in your diaries now – our next theatre night sees GSP presenting “Into the Breach”. Written and performed by Mark Carey, this is another absolutely fantastic show!’
Old Herbaceous is the much-loved, one-man play telling the humorous love story of a single-minded yet gentle man with a passion for plants, from his potting shed. See: https://youtu.be/X9mGzbpAL-4
Described as ‘Downton Abbey with Gardening Tips’ – it’s a show not to be missed!
This professional theatre production, which is showing at The Hall on Saturday March 1st, is the first in a series of Pop Up Theatre nights during 2025.
