A wonderful comedy written and performed by Mark Carey.

George Crocker is keen to liven up his dull life so he decides to join the village Drama Club hoping to play the panto dame. What happens next turns his world upside down and instead he finds himself taking on the role of Henry V!

Set during the Second World War this original, inspiring show is suitable for everyone and with one actor playing all 17 parts you can guarantee it’s going to be a hoot!

Next Feldon Valley Military and Naval History Society Talk: The Battle of Edgehill, 1642

The Next Meeting of the Feldon Valley Military and Naval History Society is on Wednesday June 18th at The Hall at 8.00 pm

Simon Marsh of the  Battlefields Trust is coming to The Hall to give a talk on the Battle of Edgehill, the first major engagement between Roundheads and Cavaliers in August of 1642 at the start of the First Civil War.

The Feldons Wildlife Group Invite You to an Illustrated Talk on how ‘Swifts are Making a Comeback’ on June 11th

‘Swifts are Making a Comeback’ Talk at The Hall Wednesday June 11th at 8pm

Jacey Jackson, lifelong enthusiast and founder of Shipston Action for Swifts, will be sharing her passion for these birds in an illustrated talk at The Hall on June 11th.

Doors open at 7:30pm – to start at 8pm.

Refreshments will be available and donations towards the cost of the talk would be much appreciated.

Corn Dolly Workshop at The Hall June 7th

An Introductory Workshop into the Wonderful World of Corn Dollies at The Hall on June 7th from 10.00 – 13.00

Learn the basics of strawcraft starting with a simple plait Country Favour, then a bigger Glory Braid, leading to your final Showstopper piece a ‘Welsh Border Fan’.

Half Term Dance Workshops for Children at The Hall

Atomic Dance Half Term workshops at The Hall for Children aged 4 – 13 yrs on May 28/29 from 9.00 – 3.00

If you are looking for an active pursuit for your child over the half-term holiday next week look no further than the Atomic Dance workshops being held at The Hall on Wednesday May 28th and Thursday May 29th from 9am – 3pm.

Open to all, your child doesn’t have to be a student with Atomic Dance – so it’s a great way to try out classes!

This is a meeting for the residents of Cherington and Stourton and will be chaired by the Chairman of the Parish Council but it is not a meeting of the Parish Council.
Parish Councillors will be in attendance.
