Art in the Hall June 9th – 12th
Art Exhibition in The Hall
There will be an art exhibition by the Stourton Mark Makers in The Hall from Friday June 9th – 12th from 10.00 – 16.00.
Cards, tea, coffee and cake will also be available.
All welcome.
Defibrillator Awareness Session Saturday May 20th
A Defibrillator Awareness Session is being run at this month’s Coffee Shop at the Hall on Saturday 20th May from 10.30-12.00.
These are very short free drop in sessions for everyone and demonstrate the defibrillator and how it is used.
The Area Coordinator will also be there to talk to anyone who might be willing to join the village ‘shout’ volunteers – people who are willing to fetch the defibrillator for anyone in need while emergency services are en route. They will also be happy to talk to anyone interested taking in Emergency First Aid Courses to higher levels.

Bard’s Rides and Walks Saturday May 13th
This year’s Bard’s Rides and Walks, will start and finish at The Hall on Saturday (13th May).
There will be a choice of two cycle Rides:
- 100km /60 mile challenge ride (starting at 09.00)
- 40km/ 25 miles classic ride (starting at 10.00)
Cost: £20 for Adults for both rides; £10 for under 18s on the classic ride.
For those who prefer legs to wheels the Bluebell walks will take place between 10am and 11.30am.
There is a choice of 3, 5 or 7-mile walks. (The 7-mile Walk takes you through Cherington, Long Compton and Whichford.)
Cost: £7 for adults; £3 for under 18s. Directions and notes will be provided for the Walks and the churches on the route.
Registration for both can be either online in advance at RiderHQ.com or on the day at the venue.
Delicious refreshments will also be available at the Village Hall and there will be a Raffle.
Pofits go to the Warwickshire and Coventry Historic Churches Trust to save church buildings for future generations. We hope to see you on the 13th!
