New Defibrillator Installed at The Cherington

Our lovely local pub, The Cherington, is not just a great place to eat and drink and meet up with friends, it is also a great asset to our villages in other ways.

You may remember that one of the aims of the Cherry Fest in the summer was to raise funds for a second public defibrillator for the community and today it has been installed.

See below a message from Mat Faulkner, Manager at The Cherington:

Just wanted to pop up a note of huge thanks and well done to all surrounding villages.

The defibrillator that we all raised money for at our ‘Cherry Fest’ has finally been put up today!

Hopefully we will never need to use it but they save lives. We will look to do a big training session soon for those who would like to know how to use one should you need to!’
