Coffee Shop and Cosy Christmas Fair Next Saturday

It’s a Christmas Coffee Shop alongside a Cosy Festive Fair on Saturday December 13th from 10.00

Alongside our Christmas Coffee Morning at The Hall, which is open 10:30am – 12 noon, serving freshly ground coffee, tea, mince pies and sausage rolls, we have a Cosy Christmas Fair.

Small but perfectly formed, we will have a selection of local makers and artisans with lots of gifts, stocking fillers, treats, decorations, and more!

We have coming:

  • Wheatear Strawcraft – traditional strawcraft decorations
  • Sarah Godwin – fused glass, & keepsake boxes
  • Elaine’s Bespoke Flowers- wreaths etc
  • Natterjack Sewing – bags & sewn gifts etc
  • David & Margery Blower – Brailes Honey & beeswax candles
  • Hand made natural wax container candles, + vintage jewellery
  • Cards, gifts + jewellery
  • ‘As New’ books, toys, games, gifts – fundraising stall for Save the Children

Plus, a Raffle in aid of Playing Field funds.

So you can enjoy a very relaxed and sociable morning’s Christmas shopping without battling through the traffic, and have a cheeky little treat too!

Artists in the Barn

The artists are back with their handcrafted gifts!

Paintings, photographs, jewellery, wooden boards, ironwork, garden pottery, soap, papier mache birds, blown glass and ceramics are all there.

Open 10.00am – 4.00pm Friday to Sunday.

Arts and Crafts Exhibition at Jacques Barn December 5th, 6th and 7th from 10.00 – 17.00

A group of ten local artists and crafters return for their popular annual visit to Jacques Barn, bringing their wide range of handcrafted Christmas gifts.

Along with our regular exhibitors of everything from art and photography to wood, ceramics, jewellery and ironwork we have the first visit of Trilby Jones with his beautiful papier mâché birds.

PETER KETTLE: SUMMITS Art Exhibition in Stourton

ART EXHIBTION at Jacques House 15th/16th and 22nd/23rd November 11am – 5pm

Every mountain has a story to tell’

A major solo exhibition by international artist Peter Kettle will be showcasing 20 landscape paintings from his expedition across Patagonia, Japan, Everest Basecamp, Spain and scenes from his native Wales.

Through painting, collage and documentary film, Peter looks for ancient pilgrimages across the world surrounding revered mountains and celebrates the stories, landscape and people of these sacred places.

10% of proceeds will be going towards MIND mental health charity and a Warwickshire animal sanctuary.

Admission free and all welcome.

Corn Dolly Workshop at The Hall June 7th

An Introductory Workshop into the Wonderful World of Corn Dollies at The Hall on June 7th from 10.00 – 13.00

Learn the basics of strawcraft starting with a simple plait Country Favour, then a bigger Glory Braid, leading to your final Showstopper piece a ‘Welsh Border Fan’.

All materials and refreshments provided.
