Bacon Baps and Mince Pies at the December Coffee Shop

Coffee Shop Saturday December 9th from 10.30 – 12.00 at The Hall

Come to The Hall for the last coffee shop of the year.

Mince pies, cakes and bacon baps are your morning fare! There will also be a Christmas raffle in aid of the Playing Field.

Last Farmers’ Market of the Year This Thursday

December Farmers’ Market will be on Thursday 7th from 6 – 8pm at The Hall.

Your last chance this year to buy local produce, pick up some Christmas gifts and maybe order a turkey!

Supper is provided by JP’s mobile Pizzeria (note: from 7pm).

Enjoy a delicious wood fired pizza and a festive drink with friends.

Note: the next Farmers Market will be in April 2204 after the clocks change.

Kickstart the Christmas cheer with one of Elaine’s Bespoke Flowers wreath-making workshops (see below for timings).

Arts and Crafts Exhibition at Jacques Barn November 24th 25th and 26th from 10.00 – 17.00

9 different artists, showcasing crafts from pottery and painting to ironware and soaps! A good chance to buy some early handcrafted Christmas gifts.

Also a reminder that all Hall members are invited to a drinks reception at 7.30 where they will have a chance to make their views known on the proposed aspirational plan for the Playing Field and Hall land.

This will be followed by the Hall AGM at 8.30 where members will have the opportunity to vote in the election of Trustees.

If you are not already a member (and are over 18) you can apply here or on the night.

Hall Drinks Reception and AGM November 21st

An Invitation to Hall Members to participate in the Playing Fields Consultation and AGM from Chairman Jim Walton:

“On behalf of the Trustees, I am pleased to invite you to a reception at the Hall on Tuesday 21st November from 7:30 to 8:30pm. 

This event, including complimentary drinks, is open to all Hall Members.

It is to be held at the same time as a Consultation on the aspirational plans for work proposed for the Playing Field and Hall land on which it is hoped you may have a view.

Any resident over the age of 18 is eligible to register as a Member and application for Membership can be made on the night or here before then.

There is no cost.  So, if you know of others who might be interested, please bring them along.

The Hall AGM follows at 8:30pm and Members are welcome to attend and may vote in the election of Trustees, an important element to our new constitution providing transparent governance.
