If you can you spare a morning to join the Aspirational Plan Working Party in hedging work on the Playing Field at The hall at 10.00 on Saturday Feb 10th then you will receive a delicious bacon bap for your efforts!
It’s coffee morning at The Hall next Saturday and if you feel like putting in a shift to help the working party Christine Dudfield will reward you with a tasty bacon bap!
Work planned includes:
- Coppicing the existing hedge
- Planting the gaps with young whips, spiral guards and canes
- Removing part of the division fence
- Making a bonfire
- Cleaning and maintenance of the playground equipment
- Removing Rubbish
Alan Perkins is bringing a digger so it won’t be all hard manual labour!
Useful tools to bring along include spades, loppers, secateurs, brooms and rakes.
Work will likely finish at lunch time and reconvene at a further date depending on progress made.
