Spencer House Gallery present a ‘Pride of Place’ showing of artists celebrating all aspects of Cotswold Life: 22 – 25 and 28 – 31 May
Spencer House Gallery champions excellent regional art and has recently transferred from Tetbury, in the South Cotswolds. Owner, Chris, has just moved from Oxfordshire to Upper Tysoe.
The Pride of Place show will be her North Cotswold debut.
“I’m really looking forward to putting down new roots and getting to know the art-loving communities of my home patch. And, of course, I’m so grateful to Sally for allowing me to exhibit in her lovely Jacques Barn space.”
The dozen artists featured in the show are all Cotswold-based or inspired – or both – and most of them live in the Stourton region.
Their work, both figurative and abstract, will cover oil and acrylic painting, various kinds of printmaking, drawing and ceramics. Something for all tastes and pockets.
The Private View – on the Friday evening, 22 May – is a launch event open to all: “We’re hoping lots of local residents come along to meet the artists, view the art and help us have an evening to remember.”
