A huge thanks to everyone involved in this year’s Flower Show – to the committee, the volunteers and of course the people who came and supported it. Despite the challenging weather everyone had a great time.









Can you spare some time during the evening on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th August to help set up this year’s show?
We meet on the Showground at 6pm likely finished by 8pm each evening with a free drink in the pub to finish!
Clearing up after the show starts at 10am on Sunday 6th usually finished by 12 noon.
Without volunteers the Show wouldn’t happen, so please spare an hour or two.

The Harvard Krokadiloes, Harvard’s oldest a capella singing group, will be performing in the garden of Jacques House, Stourton on Tuesday 8th August at 7.00pm.
They will be singing everything from traditional ballads through classic American 40s swing to 50s and 60s rock.
There will be an interval long enough for a picnic….and if it rains the concert will take place in the church.
Entry costs £15.00. Please book with sallyclubley@gmail.com.

Emma Taylor and the gorgeous Sparky AKA Novato Salvatella, PRE Stallion will be appearing at the show this year.
Novato Salvatella is a Purebred Spanish (PRE) Stallion by Moromo X and bred by the famous Salvatella.

This month’s North Cotswold Farmers Market will be held on Thursday August 3rd from 6 – 8pm at The Hall, Pinfold Lane, Stourton.
Supper this month will be provided by street food vendor Little Vins Kitchen.
It’s the night for registration for the Flower Show entries so a great opportunity for entrants to enjoy the market’s offerings!

The Car Boot Sale is back at this year’s show by popular demand.
Set up is from 12 noon.
Only £10 a pitch (which includes driver and 1 other).

Time to buy your raffle tickets.
You will be getting a visit in the next few days so be ready to support Shipston Home Nursing and Shipston FirstResponders.
Lots of fantastic prizes including £100 cash, champagne, wine, candles and many more.
Any bottles for the bottle stall? Please take them to The Paddock, Stourton or have them ready for collection. And bric-a-brac can be taken to The Leys House, Cherington.
