We are lucky in this village to have a wonderful local pub, The Cherington (originally The Cherington Arms).

It was purchased by local resident, Martin Craddock, in September 2023 order to preserve it as a village amenity. After a various ‘challenges’ with planning etc. our lovely pub finally opened its doors to the public on May 17th 2024.

It is currently being run by The Happy Wolf Company (who also run The Yew Tree at Avon Dasset and The Peacock at Oxhill).
